Woah. So much has changed since I last posted. Including the blogger interface. Used to be that lkk format. I think I liked that better though. :)Mmmhmmmhmmm. Why the sudden motivation to post? Right. So... maybe I should get down to some stock-taking since it's already been past half a year. I think I'm doing better than expected. I thought I would struggle and die in the course of these two years, but I'm still surviving. And surviving well. That's a good sign. Hope it keeps up this way. I'm actually beginning to have this feeling that I'm gonna say that I'd never regret my choice of coming to Hwa Chong. We'll see at the end of two years. ;) I was looking back at the apparently "recent" posts (although there hasn't been many and most of my mental notes have never materialised) and it suddenly dawned on me that so much has happened since January. Life was literally a breeze and everything came and were gone. It was so quick I couldn't believe that January and July are just six to seven months apart. Received a call to go for Chung Cheng's anniversary this year. Initially I was quite reluctant to go. Like... I could've been enjoying my weekends slacking away. Then I felt this sudden urge to relive the old times all over again. I can't believe I miss every single bit of the good old days including the anniversary. Tskkkkkkkk. Just felt like going back and seeing the kids don on that uniform I used to wear everyday. So... I'm currently gladly willing to part with my 4 hours of time to travel all the way to Yishun. My perceptions on friendship have started to sway ever since the start of this year. Didn't wanna leave (as usual) and I was really afraid of having to make friends all over again because we're only gonna base our friendships on less than two years of interaction. I think I'm getting used to everything. Just hope nothing changes me. The only useful part of yesterday's CT session was that this speaker (rowdy and lacking of substance) got us to think about 101 things we want to do before we die. Or perhaps not 101. I subconsciously listed these down: - 1. Travel around the world 2. Do research on dreams/sleeping/behaviour/thinking etc. and become famous (haha) 3. Go everywhere and spend money on treating my family and close friends to good food 4. Make pretty cards for those I love 5. Marry someone I love 6. Set up a charity drive for an organisation serving disabled clients 7. Visit some of my teachers and mentors (if they are still around :/) 8. Shop and shop like crazy with H6 9. Apologise to anyone I've crossed paths with and ask for forgiveness 10. Have frequent gatherings and set up a theatre at home, get friends to come over to watch comedies and horror movies 11. Get a pHd 12. Spread the love Quite silly. And I realise that most of them are material needs. That's just a few. I reckon that if everyone could know when they are gonna die, there're many more intangible things that they'll commit to. Now I think that list is pretty pointless. But whatever it is, live the moment? :') I guess I'd work harder to survive better. And stay strong. P.S. I just read some of my old posts. Silly silly me. :) The next time I come back here I hope I don't laugh at this post. |
