I should probably learn the proper way to write a poem. For now... Anything will do. Could have written a descriptive one but I'm just too lazy. Just let me get this feeling out first hahaha.

Morning Chills

Lights flashed
Unsettled hearts roused from sleep
Rumbling noises beckoned from afar
One at a time in steep crescendos

Lights flashed
My world lit up like fire on a torch
Blinded only those awake
The dormant shielded from hate

Lights flashed
Fought their way to prominence with dawn
The sun's brilliance engulfed in thick grey clouds
Painted the sky an unusual grainy yellow

Lights flashed
My heart shrouded in a new sense of fear
A still lonesome morning
Gusts of cold wind, my only company

Lights flashed
Faint rumbling noises fade in the distance
Raindrops pattering, the land came alive
My mind and soul finally belong

Omgggggggggggggggg

I finally passed my driving test! Only after three pathetic tries. Gosh. Started out taking private lessons for the sake of saving money but I guess now the cost totals up to almost the same amount paid by the typical school learner. But point is... I finally passed and that's all that matters (even though it was a borderline of 18 points).

I did all the stupid mistakes that I never made before during the test. Struck the kerb during vertical parking (I never had difficulty with vertical parking until before my third test, plus I never struck the kerb either) and got marked down for not checking blind spots. At the end of it, I didn't feel happy that I passed; instead, all that I felt was a huge sense of relief. This truly speaks volumes of how I viewed this entire driving thing.

I realised through this whole journey that I really am a person who's not very confident in my own abilities. :( I know I could have done it with so much more ease but somehow at that point in time during the driving test I just couldn't harness enough focus and concentration to tell myself that I can do it. I couldn't trust my own pair of hands to operate a vehicle and keep myself alive. I didn't like the feeling of being indirectly in control of something.

Anyhow...

This week's been a good week! Finally got certified in BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) and also driving. For once I feel that I'm finally becoming a useful person.
